BBQ tempeh


250g tempeh
200g mushrooms
1 courgette
1 red bell pepper
2 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon coriander seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon tamari
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 drops of Tabasco
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon of olive oil


To make the marinade, combine all the ingredients except the tempeh and vegetables. Pour the marinade over the tempeh slices and leave to marinate for a few hours.
Place the tempeh and sliced vegetables on a grill basket and cover with the marinade. After grilling for 4 minutes, turn the basket over and brush with the remaining marinade. Grill for a further 4 minutes or until brown.

Serve over rice with your favourite sauce.
